The bag is a little small when going across chest, but that might be because of my boobs(lol). The overall design is just awesome! Some people are saying they didn't receive the bag with the handle, but I did. I opened and closed it a few times and it seemed quite durable.
KATANA UMBRELLA UPDATE
Since it literally just arrived I haven't rain tested it yet, but I will do that as soon as it does and update this review. I bought this for my brother's 21st, I'm only 15 so I can't afford anything too expensive, but this is the best! His birthday isn't till the end of March and I won't see him till Easter holiday, so I decided to order this now and do some testing on it. A tad bit bulky and tends to knock into things if one is not careful, but definitely a head-turner on the streets! A longer strap would have been much better in my opinion. My partner is not capable of doing that either.
I could not manage to get it across my chest and wear it on my back. However, the strap appears to be a tad bit short. My partner is very pleased with the gift and has been using it since her last brolly was apparently not water-proof (the colours were running). The design on the handle is rather intricate and the metal appears to be quite steady and long-lasting. Carrying it in its gift-wrapped form proved to be quite troublesome (I had taken it with me all the way from Oxford to Leeds). I had thought it would be slightly longer than an average umbrella, but this one is huge. When the brolly came, I was rather astounded by the size. I bought when during the Christmas period, so the arrival was a tad bit longer than usual, but still in time to be wrapped up by hand before delivered. I bought this for my partner, she loves anything that resemble the traditional Japanese blade, so this was a perfect gift for her.
